SUCCESS FEEDS SUCCESS, THE CYCLE OF PROGRESS

Big goals look unachievable to all of us. It’s like standing at the bottom of a 100 foot cliff and imagining yourself leaping to the top. Impossible. The fortunate thing about reaching big goals is that they don’t work like this… at all. While it may seem like some achieve it this way… success takes months and even years. But small successes are the key. And small success feeds success… big success. If, and only if, you are willing to take the small victories and stick with it over the long term.

Success Feeds Success

Keep your larger goal in mind, but don’t focus on it. That’s the key. Instead focus on tiny milestones that signal your slow and steady progress towards your larger goal.

This is the Compound Effect (Great Book, get it!!) in action. Success feeds success and those small victories compounded over time will add up and even grow exponentially with time! This is the mistake most make. They lose motivation when they don’t reach their goal quickly. Successful people, on the other hand, focus on making microscopic progress and they do it consistently. As days, weeks, months, and even years go by… those microscopic movements forward propel successful people past their goals and on to new ones. And we wonder how they do it!

Success feeds success and if you focus on your incremental progress, you will find yourself ALWAYS successful… and any failures will be short lived and most likely a good lesson in what not to do.

Success Feeds Success

So as you approach your health and fitness take a step back and think about your true goal. Consider the small milestones that will get you there and focus on daily and weekly goals that are achievable… small increments that will, in time, lead you to your ultimate goal. The best part of focusing on small wins? You get to feel successful every day. Even failures won’t phase you when you think this way.

So there you go, think small to go big and then onto achieve EPIC results and goals. Rome was not built in a day and neither is your health and fitness. Keep hitting those small goals and they will all add up to one massive proud moment!
